Executive group photography for The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group

I was approached recently to photograph the Executive Board Members for the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group. I’ve worked with health care providers throughout Greater Manchester for over 20 years so it was great to catch up with some familiar faces. Continuity as a freelancer for this period of time is quite rare so something to really value.

The issue, always with big work group photographs is getting all the necessary people in one place on a particular time and date. It’s rare everyone can be available when the day eventually arrives. Sickness, urgent meetings etc will often affect attendance. My solution was to suggest we photograph each individual separately and then produce a composite image as per the one below. This also enables leavers and new joiners to be removed and added accordingly. It worked out well.

We shot everyone over two days and then worked on creating the group image in photoshop.
